A photo, a great memory

It was the the 11th of December, 2008. The second day of Eid (Eid al-Adha). My family and I went to visit our home town "Batteer", a small village near Bethlehem.

It was such a nice day, with such a bad weather... But me, my brother and our cousins decided that the we must not let the weather ruin our lovely day. And as it known that the most beautiful thing in those areas where the nature scenes, to look at the green mountains and valleys. So our cousins who lives there suggested that we go and "seek the mountains" .. and I know.. it was kinda funny and crazy in such a weather.

Anyway, I loved it, I loved the scenes, I loved everything about it.. especially that nut tree near our relatives house, which i decided to capture a photo of it with my cell phone's camera.

I'll let you with the Picture,

A Poem, "Our sun will never go down"

Donya Bader, 15 years old girl from Jerusalem, gave me a great poem written by her to publish it as a start for this blog.
It's Called "Our Sun Will Never Go Down" and "Shamsona lan tagheeb" in Arabic, and here it goes..

The First Post..

In some boring day in this summer while I was trying to kill time online, I noticed that there are much of talents in my country, but they're not known for many reasons, some of them because they tried to get their work discovered but failed, and others because no one really cares about them or their talents, so they lost hope, and ignored their talents for a really stupid reason ! ..

In my case, I like to make pencil sketches, and they're always better when i'm feeling sad or depressed. Actually this is how I discovered that I can draw well and started doing it, one day i was really depressed, so I got a notebook and a pencil and a started to draw, and it went pretty fine, so everytime I feel depressed, I go to my notebook, and it became my own way of relief !. Then I came with the idea of this blog to try to help all the talented minds in this country.

and for the start of this blog, I'm going to show you a recent sketch by myself, and i called it "Rise Up" ...
